In Permafrost, players step into the frozen remnants of human civilization after a cataclysmic frost shatters the world. Taking on the role of a desperate survivor, you must navigate buried city ruins, scavenge scarce resources, and build shelters to protect yourself against the deadly sub-zero temperatures. Combining deep survival mechanics with strategic crafting and base building, players utilize specialized gear, restore broken technology, and fight off dangerous localized factions or wild beasts. Whether traveling alone with your loyal dog or teaming up in up to 4-player co-op, every decision means the difference between life and freezing to death.
